I became a broker because I got tired of writing checks that had nothing to do with actually serving clients.
After years in residential real estate — I got my license in 1997 — I'd had enough of the franchise fees, the office fees, the desk fees, the copy fees, the technology fees — the endless list of line items that quietly ate into everything I earned. I knew there was a better way to run a brokerage: one where agents keep more of what they earn, and the support actually shows up in their day-to-day business.
So in 2014, I got my broker's license and built JMRE from the ground up around one idea: mentorship, friendship, and growth — without all the fees that used to come with it.
I've closed over 1,000 transactions and personally sell between 35 and 80 homes a year across Sachse, Wylie, Murphy, Lavon, Rowlett, Rockwall, Forney, and the surrounding communities. I know this market, and I know exactly what it feels like to be an agent who's working hard but watching fees chip away at the results.
When you join JMRE, one of the first things we do together is build your personalized business plan — not a generic template, but a real roadmap tied to your life and your goals. Then we meet weekly, one-on-one, so that plan actually gets worked. You get the coaching, the accountability, the skill-building, and a team that genuinely shares in each other's success.
And yes — you also get the practical stuff. See everything that's included below.
I'm not just your broker. I'm your neighbor. If you're ready to keep more of what you earn and have someone genuinely invested in your growth, I'd love to connect.
Minimum Texas Real Estate Commission standards are not enough to be successful in real estate. We feel that this is so important that this is a pillar in our company philosophy. JMRE agents are dedicated to constantly learning and adapting to the real estate environment. By being focused on education and constant improvement, our agents weather the storms in our ever-changing environment.
